CAN utilities

The CAN utilities are the tools Profinity provides for working with the messages on a CAN bus. To connect a CAN bus first, refer to CAN bus adapters.

• CAN bus DBC: open the CAN database (DBC) Viewer, load a third-party DBC file, and filter messages and signals.
• Send / receive CAN bus messages: monitor CAN bus traffic, send a CAN packet on demand and schedule packets at a fixed interval.
• Log / replay CAN bus messages: choose how to log CAN bus messages and find what the replayer can replay.
